The VOICE Process: You will be assigned to work with an advocate/ legal assistant and attorney who will review your file and provide a consultation to determine what strategy is needed to help you achieve your desired outcome.   Also, based upon your desire, we will work hard to train you to become a fully sufficient self-advocate. 

What are our fees?

We will provide an initial consultation at no charge. If you choose to use our services, we will require that an agreement is signed and that you tender a deposit for use of our services. The fees will be hourly based upon a sliding fee which is dependent upon your income. We also do our best to help you learn the process so that you may undertake your job indendently. The fees are as follows: VOICE 2007 FEE SCHEDULE FAMILY GROSS INCOME (PER YEAR) VOICE FEE ($/HOUR) under $20,000 - $30/hour $20,000-$35,000 - $40/hour $35,000-$50,000 - $50/hour $50,000-$75,000 - $60/hour $75,000-$125,000 - $70/hour $125,000-$175,000- $80/hour over $175,000 - $95/ hour For emergencies= less than 2 weeks to prepare from the time the records are provided - add-on $115 Note: At the discretion of the VOICE President, VOICE may reimburse parent(s) $10/hour for services provided to VOICE by parent(s), not to exceed the number of hours of advocacy provided to parent(s) by VOICE

What is an intake?

An intake is a process for us to get to know each other better. We gather basic information from you. If you decided to move foreward, we will required copies of relevent documents- which we will discuss with you- and completion of our contract.
